It’s a pretty typical Hollywood spin on things tho. A bit like Titanic really , take a historical event , put some random love story in it , a few explosions and bang u got a box office hit.

The music however , is very good and could be used for a lot of different scenarios.

The soviets could not have won without the aircraft and supplies from the U.S. either

To nie wiem, co wiesz, ale ja z kolei mam oryginalny soundtrack na płycie i nic takiego tam nie ma. Zresztą dziwne, aby było, skoro nie pojawia się w tym utworze żadem motyw dźwiękowy z filmu.

What are you talking about? The Soviets won the Western Front, they did most of the dirty work. What did the US give the Soviets? A couple P40s, C47s, and some P39s. None of our good stuff just the surplus equipment. Normany, North Africa, Italy, they were all secondary compared to the comeback the Soviets made. Even without the help from the US and the British, the Soviets could have tooken back Europe.

that is not true, you know how much Russia was struggling? 27 million Russians died, and the Moscow line was almost reached.

  15. SaturnVII / October 7, 2009 3:10 am

And the Soviets would not stop unless they were all killed. Seriously, it might have taken the Soviets a little longer without help from Britain and the United States, but they would’ve been victorious all the same.

I agree… When the Americans first entered Berlin, the Soviets were already there… :) )))

How can u talk of making peace with a man who trashes whatever you hold most dear to you? In the american constitution it says: that all men are born equal… Hitler considered that the arian race was dominant, equal to no other.

  18. SHEGO117DBEST / October 12, 2009 12:46 pm

hitler wasnt a monster or a devil. he wanted to make peace with them but the americans said that hitler would wage war on japan when they did allaince

  19. Linnets / October 13, 2009 12:36 pm

then explain the millions of jews he killed? no monster or a devil, just a fucking idiot making the history of man disgusting

  20. Merlenzio / October 14, 2009 2:17 pm

This is Hans Zimmer, not Enya.

You realize that Patton would’ve been in Berlin several months before the russians if “Ike” a.k.a. Dwight D. Eisenhower wouldn’t have stalled them for political reasons. Those reasonns are based on the fact that the allies agreed to have Berlin taken by Russia. Hence why they were there before us. Otherwise, we would’ve liberated Berlin.
